Staff Correspondent: A teenager was killed after being run over by a train engine under the Dewanhat Flyover in Chattogram city. The incident occurred around 2:30 PM on Wednesday (April 16).
According to police sources, the deceased was approximately 15 years old, but his identity has not yet been confirmed.
Railway sources stated that a bogie-less engine was coming from the Marshal Locoshed towards Chattogram Railway Station when the accident took place.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chattogram Railway Police Station, S.M. Shahidul Islam, said, “The accident occurred around 2:30 PM, killing a 15-year-old boy. We have recovered the body and sent it to Chattogram Medical College Hospital. The identity of the victim has not yet been determined.”
