On April 19, 2025, students of the Bangladesh-Sweden Polytechnic Institute covered the campus nameplate with a red cloth in solidarity with the technical student movement. The students stated that there is no need for such a technical education system if its quality is not improved.
They warned that stricter programs will be announced in the future if their legitimate demands are not met.
