Protest Rally in Sreemangal Against Israeli Genocide in Palestine and Aggression on Muslims in India and Other Countries

A protest rally and demonstration were held in Sreemangal under the banner of the All-Party Islamic Students Unity Council condemning Israel’s attacks and brutal genocide in Gaza, Palestine, and the aggression against Muslims in India and other countries.

On Friday (March 21), after the Jummah prayers, a protest rally and demonstration were organized by the All-Party Islamic Students Unity Council in Sreemangal Upazila. The rally started in front of the Sreemangal Thana Jame Mosque, paraded through the main streets of the town, and ended in a gathering at Chaumuhana Square.

Speakers at the gathering included Mohammad Sadikul Islam, President of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, Sreemangal Upazila; Mahmudul Hasan Naeem, Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Majlis; Nazmul Islam, President of Anjuman-e-Talimi Islamia, Sreemangal Upazila; Nazmul Islam Saif, President of Islami Chhatra Sena, Sreemangal Municipality; Abdul Qayum, President of Bangladesh Khelafat Chhatra Majlis, Sreemangal Upazila; and Bangladesh Khelafat Jubo Majlis leader Mohammad Mojahidul Islam and Maulana Abdur Rahman Asjad Barnavi, among others.

Speakers at the protest said, “Israel is brutally carrying out genocide against the innocent people of Palestine, while global powers remain silent spectators. We strongly condemn and protest this massacre and demand an immediate end to the attacks on Palestinians.
