Ashfak Ahmed, Borlekha (Moulvibazar) Correspondent: The Baralekha Upazila branch of the national social-volunteer organization Nirappa Sarak Chai (Nischa) stood by the transport workers, pedestrians and working people in the intense heat. This program has been taken up on the instructions of Nischa founder film actor Elias Kanchan, keeping in mind the issue of intense heat in the country.
On Thursday (June 12), the leaders of Nischa Baralekha branch distributed pure drinking water and saline in Baralekha municipality of Moulvibazar from 1 pm. This program was conducted in the North, South and Central markets.

Pedestrian Halima Begum said, I went to the market for an urgent need. On the way back, my head was spinning in the intense heat. I took cold water from here and they gave me oral saline, and I feel much better after eating them. May Allah bless the workers of this organization.
Organization President Tahmeed Ishad Ripon said, The country is burning in severe heat, and the lives of working people have become miserable due to the intense heat of the sun. In such a situation, each of us should stand by the people with whatever we can to provide some relief. The shortage of cold water and saline in the heat can put people’s lives at risk. We have taken this initiative with that in mind. He further said that as long as this intense heat continues, the distribution of pure drinking water and saline will continue on their behalf. If necessary, this initiative will be expanded to other areas. Nischa works not only on the roads but also for humanitarian welfare. If this heat continues, not only water or saline, but we are also planning to distribute medicines to helpless people, distribute umbrellas, provide cold water and provide food to street children.
Local citizens and people from different classes and professions welcomed this initiative and said that Nischa is constantly carrying out awareness activities to prevent road accidents as well as continuing humanitarian activities. This humanitarian presence of a social organization sets a new example.
