Mohammad Kamrul Kayes, an explorer of dreams and humanity

An inspiring story combining technology, humanity and determination

Mohammad Samir: Mohammad Kamrul Kayes was born on April 25, 1985, in Amirabad, Lohagara Upazila, Chittagong. Growing up amidst the natural beauty of mountains and rivers, this curious child knew from an early age that his life was not only for himself but also for people.

His educational journey began at the local school North Ahmedabad MB High School, Abdur Rahman Master’s School and South Satkania Golam Bari School. Later, he completed his Higher Secondary from Baro Aulia Degree College and his Honours and Masters in Economics from Chittagong College.

Humanity Education from the Family
The sense of giving and service was hereditary. From his family, he learned that standing by people is the biggest lesson in life. Since starting his Honours in 2003, he used to spend a portion of his small income on humanitarian work in addition to his studies.

After completing his Masters in 2009, he settled permanently in the village. From there, his full humanitarian journey began. Helping disaster victims, cooperating in Rohingya camps, distributing winter clothes, distributing food bags and disinfectants during the Corona pandemic, standing by the injured in the Sitakunda fire, and providing relief and assistance to the people affected by the terrible Feni floods made his humanitarian journey more complete.

The peace that comes from sharing people’s sorrows cannot be found anywhere else, Mohammad Kamrul Kayes.

New horizons through technology, GM IT
Along with humanitarian work, Kamrul Kayes understands that it is important to use technology for the development of society. Another dream of his, GM IT, was born from that thought.

This is not just a digital platform, but a light of new possibilities in the lives of hundreds of families. Starting from creating employment to providing digital facilities at the rural level, GM IT has become a center of people’s trust.

To institutionalize his personal initiative, he joined the Bangladesh International Lions Club. Membership in this global organization gave him the opportunity and experience to work at the international level.

Kamrul Kayes, along with his friends, founded two important organizations in humanitarian initiatives: Helpless Smile Foundation, a government-approved organization through which he is standing by the helpless people in an organized manner.

Peach International Human Rights, a human rights organization working towards establishing a society without discrimination and human rights.

Mohammad Kamrul Kayes’s grand vision for the future is to build a Hefzkhana and an orphanage in his dream village (for which 24 acres of land has already been purchased).

A modern Islamic school and a women’s madrasa. An orphanage, Hefzkhana and an old age home in the city. Spreading Quranic education and prayer education across the country at a nominal cost. Expanding GM IT and making technology accessible everywhere. Playing a leading role in eliminating discrimination through Peach International Human Rights.

A beacon of inspiration The boy who was curious as a child has become a unique symbol of technology and humanity. Mohammad Kamrul Kayes reminds us that if dreams are for others, then those dreams will one day become a beacon of light, inspiration and hope for society.
