Principal Abdul Hannan, Nayeb-e-Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Sylhet District and the party’s nominated candidate for Member of Parliament from Sylhet-2 constituency, said that Jamaat-e-Islami wants to bring smiles to the faces of the people of this country. In the past as well, Jamaat has stood by the people with a heart full of compassion. At various times, it has acted like a solid wall to resolve public issues and serve the people. Therefore, even in the present time, Jamaat-e-Islami will stand by the government and the people for the reform of the country.
He made these remarks as the chief guest while addressing the Eid reunion and associate member gathering organized by Tajpur Union Jamaat at Tajpur Bazar in Osmaninagar Upazila yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
The event was presided over by Acting Ameer of the Union Jamaat, Jahed Ahmed, and conducted by Secretary Jalal Ahmed.
