Own representative: The announcement of the name and introduction meeting of the newly formed 61-member committee of the Chittagong Divisional Bangladesh Nationalist Road Transport Workers’ Party was held at the city’s Nasimon Bhaban.

The meeting was presided over by the newly elected president ASM Jamal Uddin (Rana). Senior Vice President Md. Azam Uddin, Vice President Nazrul Islam Masum, General Secretary Md. Mofiz, Organizing Secretary Anwar Azim Russell, Publicity Secretary Zahirul Islam Chowdhury, Finance Secretary Rajib Hossain Rubel, Joint Secretary Mohammad Samir, Ziaur Rahman Zia, Rezaur Rakman Chowdhury and all members of the new committee were present at the event.
The speakers said that the organization will be further strengthened in every district to achieve the just rights of the workers and make the democratic movement of BNP successful. They pledged to always be in the field against oppression and oppression of the workers.
President ASM Jamal Uddin Rana said, “We will remain united to protect the interests of the workers. We will achieve victory in the movement of the future with political motivation and organizational strength.”
General Secretary Md. Mofiz warned, “If the government’s terror and oppression of workers do not stop, we will be forced to launch a strict program.”
At the end of the program, the members of the newly formed committee were welcomed with flowers and a detailed discussion was held on the future work plan.
