Embassy officials are corrupt to hide corruption

In the changed situation of August 5, while on the one hand the entire country is vocal in demanding the trial of fascists and their accomplices, on the other hand, the continued rise of fascists under the patronage of the Ambassador to Qatar, Nazrul Islam, has created deep concern in the conscious circles.

It is known that the Awami League friendship of the Ambassador to Qatar, Nazrul Islam, has come to the fore due to the overall stagnant situation in the Qatar community. The investigation revealed that the only Bangladeshi educational institution of the Bangladesh community living in Qatar, BMHM School & College, has been mismanaged for a long time. It is worth noting that although the sole responsibility of managing the community’s educational institution lies with the Bangladesh community in Qatar, the institution has been managed by the embassy for a long time, bypassing the larger community. The fear of a prominent community member who did not want to be named is that the institution has become a haven for corruption due to arbitrariness and lack of accountability.

Sources say – To hide this corruption, the corrupt officials of the embassy have continued their arbitrary attitude and activities by forming a so-called governing body. As a result, the results of SSC and HSC have been widely disrupted in the past years.

It is worth noting that the Bangladesh Ministry of Education announced the abolition of the governing body of all private educational institutions on November 18, 2024. And ordered the formation of a 4-member ad hoc committee. But due to some invisible force, the ambassador appointed to Qatar (who is the chairman of the educational institution) maintained the governing body (GB) and continued its activities despite the expiration of the GB’s term.

Which is clearly contrary to the decision of the interim government of Bangladesh.

Sources also reveal that towards the end of the fascist government, several guardian organizations were formed under the leadership of Awami Dosards and sponsored by the embassy. And all these ground-breaking organizations are led by identified Awami Dosards. Among these organizations, the Guardian Forum led by Shahidullah Haider, president of the Qatar Awami Professional Organization, and Md. Noor alias Toyota Noor, a leader of the Awami League, and the Guardians organization led by Selim alias Bagha Selim, president of the Qatar Bangabandhu Parishad, and Asaduzzaman Russell, a third-class leader or activist of the Qatar Awami League, are two particularly notable organizations. According to the theory of the common people of Selim’s home district Feni, Selim of the Guardians is an active member of the killing mission of the late Awami terrorist, Joynal Hazari. He has been absconding in Qatar for a long time.

Some conscious parents who do not want to be named complain that the embassy has been knowingly helping these fascists so that the educational institution can be turned into a place of corruption like the fascist era and vested interests can be established.

We also learn that without informing the parents of more than 1600 students, Ambassador Nazrul Islam has started seeking the formation of the upcoming PTA (Parents Teacher Association) and Governing Body (GB) with the identified individuals of the two parent organizations formed by fascist friends. So that the educational institution can be run in their own way without accountability.
It is a matter of deep concern that the only community educational institution established with the labor and sweat of Bangladeshi expatriates living in Qatar is standing on the verge of destruction day by day. Conscious circles feel that if appropriate effective measures are not taken now, the institution will soon face collapse.

The guardians have strongly demanded from the government that the direct intervention of the interim government is extremely important to save the institution from destruction, from the hands of the corrupt fascist’s identified allies.
