Dengue Cases Rising in Sylhet, Four New Patients Identified

A.F.M. Asad Ullah: The prevalence of dengue is increasing again in Sylhet. Four new cases of dengue have been identified in the last 24 hours, and six others are currently undergoing treatment in various hospitals.

This information was revealed in a report issued on Tuesday afternoon by the Sylhet Divisional Office of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The report stated that four individuals tested positive for dengue in the Sylhet division within the last 24 hours. Additionally, four patients are receiving treatment at the Lakhai Upazila Health Complex in Habiganj, one at Jalalabad Ragib-Rabeya Medical College Hospital, and one at North East Medical College Hospital in Sylhet.

The report further mentioned that from January to Tuesday of this year, a total of 14 dengue cases have been reported in Sylhet division. Among these, five cases were identified in Sylhet, one in Sunamganj, three in Moulvibazar, and five in Habiganj.
