Cox’s Bazar’s Garjania livestock market closed, farmers and traders face loss of revenue

The administration has closed the Ramu or Cox’s Bazar’s Garjania livestock market. This incident has created mixed reactions among the marginal farmers, traders and ordinary buyers. Conscious circles have alleged that such a decision by the administration is undoubtedly ill-intentioned. It is basically a waste of a huge amount of revenue for the government and prioritizing internal interests. At the same time, if the livestock market is closed, the marginal farmers and traders of the region will face irreparable losses. In addition, it will have a negative impact on the marketing of agricultural products.
