Bangladesh-India Match to be Held in Sylhet

A. F. M Asad Ullah: The AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers match between Bangladesh and India will be held at the Sylhet District Stadium. Football enthusiasts in Sylhet will get the opportunity to witness the clash between Hamza and Sunil Chhetri live from the stands. The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has taken the initiative to host the Bangladesh-India match at the Sylhet District Stadium on November 18.

The BFF has planned to organize national team matches outside Dhaka, with the Bangladesh-India match in Sylhet and the Bangladesh-Hong Kong match in Chattogram.

It has been reported that the high-voltage match between Bangladesh and India will take place on November 18 at the Sylhet District Stadium. Prior to that, Bangladesh will face Singapore at the National Stadium in Dhaka on June 10 and Hong Kong at the M.A. Aziz Stadium in Chattogram on October 9.

The Sylhet District Stadium has previously hosted international football matches. The Bangladesh Football Federation had requested the stadium for football events, but due to unavailability, no international football or Premier League matches were held in Sylhet for a long time. However, this time the Federation is bringing international football back to the district stadium.
