Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Leader Khan Talat Mahmud Marries in a Family Ceremony

Former central co-coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and joint convener of the Democratic Student Council, Khan Talat Mahmud, has tied the knot. On Monday evening, he confirmed the news himself through a Facebook post.

Speaking to leaders of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, it was learned that Khan Talat Mahmud’s wife’s name is Jannatul Ferdousi. She has completed her higher secondary education and is preparing for university admission. Her hometown is Barguna.

Russell Ahmed, organizer of the Citizen Party’s northern region and former central coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, stated that the marriage took place in a family arrangement. The ceremony was held in a relative’s house of Khan Talat in a small setting, attended by close relatives from both sides.

Khan Talat’s father-in-law Zakir Hossain said that the formalities of the wedding were completed on Monday evening at a relative’s house near Mohammadpur Central Mosque in Dhaka.
