BCB Official Dies While on Duty at the Stadium

District Correspondent, Sylhet: Mohammad Ikram Chowdhury, the Security Coordinator of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), passed away from a heart attack during the fourth day of the Zimbabwe Test match.

The sudden incident occurred on Wednesday morning while he was on duty at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

Reports indicate that he suddenly fell ill during his duty. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Sylhet, where doctors declared him dead. It is suspected that he died due to cardiac arrest.

Ikram had been associated with BCB since 2009. Since 2014, he had been serving as the Security Liaison Officer at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
