Five Arrested, Including Jubo League Leader Ujjal, in Madhyanagar

Ai powered classroomIn a special operation by Madhyanagar Police in Sunamganj, a Jubo League leader and four warrant-listed accused have been arrested.

The arrested Jubo League leader is Md. Ujjal Mia (32), son of Abdur Samad from Amjora village in Chamardani Union of the upazila. He is the General Secretary of Ward No. 5, Jubo League, under Bangladesh Jubo League’s Chamardani Union No. 3. The case number against him is 06, Madh-Tang-27/11/24.

The four warrant-listed accused include Sanjay Talukdar, Liton Talukdar, and Pinu Talukdar, arrested from the Shompodpur area under Non-GR-10/23 (Madhyanagar). Another accused, Bazlu Mia, was arrested from the Sulemanpur area under CR-581/2024 (Valuka).

Madhyanagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Swajib Rahman confirmed the matter, stating that five individuals were successfully arrested between yesterday afternoon and this morning. The detained accused have been sent to court with proper police escort.
