Two Drug Dealers Arrested in Bayezid Bostami Police Operation

Ai powered classroomIn a special operation by the Bayezid Bostami Police Station in Chattogram, two drug dealers were arrested. The operation was led by Officer-in-Charge Md. Arifur Rahman and Police Inspector (Investigation) Jamal Uddin Khan, with SI Sohel Rana and accompanying forces.

Yesterday, a raid was conducted at a house located at the west end of Road No. 7 in the Roufabad Paharikha Residential Area under Bayezid Police Station. During the operation, two individuals named Md. Ali (38) and Md. Abdullah (19) were arrested. Upon searching them, 5,050 yaba tablets were recovered, weighing 500 grams and with an estimated market value of BDT 15,15,000.

A case has been filed against the arrested individuals under the Narcotics Control Act 2018 (Case No. 12, Date: 08/04/2025) at Bayezid Bostami Police Station. They have been presented before the honorable court, according to police sources.
