Two individuals have been arrested with drugs and weapons in Madhabpur Upazila of Habiganj. The arrestees are Soniya Akter (25), daughter of Mohammad Hanif Mia of Haritola village, and Mohammad Hossain (30), son of deceased Shahid Mia of the same village.
On Wednesday night, army personnel conducted a raid in the Haritola area of Madhabpur and arrested them.
The district army camp confirmed the matter, stating that the Madhabpur Army Camp carried out the operation in Haritola and apprehended the two individuals. During the raid, authorities seized 1.5 kg of cannabis, 69 mobile phones, cash amounting to 551,900 BDT, three mobile power banks, one camera, four locally-made weapons, and seven empty yaba packets. The detainees have been handed over to Madhabpur Police Station.
