Mahanagar Jubo League Leader Asad Arrested from Chowkidekhi

Police have arrested Abul Kashem Asad, a former leader of Mahanagar Awami Jubo League, from the Rupsha Residential Area in Chowkidekhi, Sylhet. On Friday afternoon, the Airport Police Station conducted a raid at his residence in the Rupsha Residential Area of Chowkidekhi and arrested him. Asad is a former member of the 6th Ward Jubo League of the Mahanagar unit.

Arrested Abul Kashem Asad is the son of the late Abdul Hamid of Rupsha area in Chowkidekhi under Airport Police Station. Police have informed that a CR case is pending against him at the Airport Police Station.

Confirming the matter, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Media) of Sylhet Metropolitan Police, Mohammad Saiful Islam, said that the arrested individual is a warrant-listed accused in the CR case. After his arrest, he was sent to jail through the court.
