Iftar Mahfil Organized by Barlekha Upazila and Municipal BNP

A prayer and iftar mahfil was organized by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Barlekha Upazila and its affiliated organizations on Thursday (March 20) at 5 PM at the Barlekha Girls’ High School ground. The event was sponsored by former UK BNP Advisor, Chartered Accountant Lion Dr. Mudabbir Hossain Munim.

The program was presided over by Upazila BNP Convener and UP Chairman Zainal Abedin and conducted by Upazila BNP Joint Convener Mujibur Rahman Khachru. Dr. Mudabbir Hossain Munim delivered the welcome speech, while the chief guest was Nasir Uddin Ahmed Mithu, former Vice President of the District BNP and a member of the Convening Committee.

Special speeches were delivered by Abdul Hafiz, a member of the District BNP Convening Committee; Emadul Islam, Ameer of Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami; Nasib Ali, Senior Joint Convener of Upazila BNP; Kazi Enamul Haque, President of Upazila Khelafat Majlis; Alal Uddin, a member of Upazila BNP Convening Committee; Professor Abdus Shahid Khan; Mir Mokhlesur Rahman, Convener of Municipal BNP; and Anwarul Islam, President of Barlekha Press Club.

The event was attended by BNP leaders and activists from various levels, political figures, businessmen, and people from various walks of life. In a warm and cordial atmosphere, a short discussion was followed by special prayers led by Hafiz Khalilur Rahman Shahin, former Religious Affairs Secretary of Upazila BNP, for the well-being of the nation and people, including former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia and BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
